QA Intern

TL;DR

QA Intern (Web/API Testing): Executing manual test cases for web and API-based applications and identifying bugs to ensure software quality. Focus on validating new features, participating in requirement reviews, and improving test documentation under mentorship.

Location: 100% remote globally, or hybrid in Bremen (Germany), Sofia (Bulgaria), Belgrade (Serbia), Istanbul (Turkey), Sakarya (Turkey), Singapore.

What you will do

• Execute manual test cases for web and API-based applications.
• Validate new features, bug fixes, and regression scenarios before releases.
• Identify, document, and track defects clearly and accurately.
• Participate in requirement reviews and help identify test scenarios.
• Support different testing phases: functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Interest in software quality, testing methodologies, and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze requirements and think from an end-user perspective.
• Basic understanding of web applications and how they work (browser, APIs, etc.).
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Agile / Scrum development processes.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
• Experience with exploratory testing or usability testing.
• Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git).
