Air Quality Permitting Specialist

What you will do

• Evaluate and interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Prepare air permit applications for regulatory agencies.
• Develop emissions estimates, technical summaries, applications, and client review packages.
• Prepare mandatory federal and state emissions reports.
• Participate in agency consultations, project meetings, and client communications.
• Use software for emissions calculations, modeling, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Three or more years of experience preparing air quality permits.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills required.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
