Lead Shipping/Receiving Coordinator (Manufacturing)

Location: Fontana, California, United States; onsite warehouse and production-floor work

Salary: $21.61–$29.18 per hour

What you will do

• Oversee shipping and receiving operations and lead assigned department employees.
• Prioritize workloads, delegate tasks, train new personnel, and assist with technical issues.
• Update material statuses, ETAs, inventory records, receiving receipts, and ERP data.
• Verify, inspect, document, and process received materials, including rejected deliveries, returns, and damage claims.
• Coordinate shipments with production staff, project managers, and carriers; prepare products, bills of lading, and staging areas.
• Audit transactions, research invoice discrepancies, and improve receiving procedures and work instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in shipping and receiving or a related field.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate work, accurately sort and verify items, and maintain inventory records.
• Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management procedures, with good organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software, plus strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate powered equipment, including a forklift and scissors lift, and perform physical warehouse duties involving lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35 pounds.
