Senior Engineer, AI Cyber Security (AI)

Base salary: $140,000–$187,250 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate detection capabilities for prompt injection, model extraction, training data poisoning, and adversarial input attacks.
• Develop monitoring pipelines and automated response playbooks for AI security incidents, including model quarantine, token revocation, and session termination.
• Secure AI development and deployment platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, and internal ML pipelines.
• Implement protections for training data, model artifacts, inference endpoints, generative AI outputs, and model governance workflows.
• Conduct AI risk assessments, adversarial testing, red teaming, and security architecture reviews using MITRE ATLAS, OWASP AI Top 10, and NIST AI RMF.
• Build integrations and AI-augmented workflows across CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Okta, Zscaler, LLMs, agent frameworks, and security data pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of combined experience in cybersecurity engineering, software engineering, and/or AI/ML systems.
• Expertise in at least three areas including AI/ML security, cloud security engineering, application security, and security operations.
• Hands-on Python experience building production security tooling and automation.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and services including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of AI security frameworks, LLM architectures, RAG, fine-tuning security, agentic AI, and enterprise security platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related technical field.
