Learning Technology Developer (Instructional Design & AI Learning Solutions)

What you will do

• Design measurable learning experiences, objectives, assessments, storyboards, interaction designs, and course blueprints.
• Develop and deploy SCORM- and xAPI-compliant e-learning solutions for LMS environments.
• Build interactive simulations, role-play activities, AI-powered learning experiences, and internal learning applications.
• Design AI features including virtual customer personas, automated assessment and scoring, adaptive feedback, coaching, and tutoring.
• Create prompts, structured outputs, evaluation methods, and safeguards for AI-driven solutions.
• Test and troubleshoot learning content, LMS integrations, learner tracking, bookmarking, completion logic, reporting, and application quality.

Requirements

• Combined experience in instructional design and software development, ideally 5+ years.
• At least 2 years of experience building and deploying learning technology solutions or comparable software products.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, ADDIE, SAM, measurable objectives, and assessment alignment.
• Experience with SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, and/or xAPI, including LMS tracking, bookmarking, completion status, reporting, and learning records.
• Production development experience with Python, JavaScript and/or TypeScript, APIs, JSON, Git, and Docker or other containerized environments.
• Experience integrating LLMs and designing prompts, structured outputs, evaluation methods, and responsible AI safeguards.

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, Next.js, React, Remix, Vite, Storyline 360, or Rise 360.
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, agent workflows, model fine-tuning, or AI evaluation.
• Experience with Moodle, Cornerstone, Docebo, SCORM Cloud, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508, Linux, or self-hosted solutions.
• Background in contact centers, customer service, BPO, or support operations.
• A portfolio containing learning design artifacts and production code or learning technology solutions.
