Instructional Designer & Trainer (Operations)

Location: Manila, Pasig, or Cebu City, Philippines. On-site for the first 3 months, then hybrid; fixed night shift required to support US-based Operations.

What you will do

• Conduct learning needs assessments and translate technical workflows, SOPs, and system procedures into scalable learning content.
• Design interactive online modules using scenarios, simulations, branching narratives, games, and guided practice.
• Create videos, system simulations, quick reference guides, facilitator guides, job aids, checklists, workflow maps, and visual learning materials.
• Develop assessments, knowledge checks, certification exercises, and learner-reinforcement plans using LMS data and performance metrics.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, HR/Learning, OPEX, Product, and Process Owners during process rollouts, system changes, and migrations.
• Maintain project timelines, documentation, version control, and governance standards while improving training effectiveness and operational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Digital Learning, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, digital learning production, or technical training development.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design models, adult learning principles, storyboarding, visual design, and multimedia production.
• Proficiency with Articulate 360, including Rise and Storyline, plus experience with LMS platforms and audio/video editing.
• Basic understanding of HTML, interactive design, animation tools, and data analysis using Excel or Power BI.
• Excellent English communication skills, willingness to work a fixed night shift, and ability to work on-site for the first 3 months are required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Operations, BPO, shared services, SaaS, or technical environments.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, SQL basics, advanced Excel, Power BI, and project management tools.
• Experience applying AI-assisted training tools, microlearning, gamification, or emerging learning technologies.
