Trainer and Quality Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Review and evaluate collection calls, documentation, applications, flagged cases, agreements, and payment records for policy, regulatory, and legal compliance.
• Design, update, and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs and materials for collections agents.
• Coach, mentor, and support agents and trainees during onboarding, nesting, and adaptation periods.
• Prepare quality reports, analyze findings, identify training gaps, and recommend improvements to collection efficiency and agent performance.
• Coordinate with department heads, legal, compliance, finance, and customer service on collections quality, training, and customer concerns.
• Manage training calendars, participant enrollment, training records, and reports.

Requirements

• Experience in collections, quality assurance, or training.
• Strong understanding of the Unfair Debt Collection Act and compliance standards.
• Advanced knowledge of training and development, including instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies.
• Ability to present, explain, and engage in clear communication with peers, trainers, agents, and field collectors.
• Ability to identify training gaps, suggest improvements, and implement learning solutions.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Flexible availability, including holidays or urgent office tasks, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience in both collections and quality assurance or training.
• Learning and development coursework or certification.
• Experience facilitating training and conducting quality reviews.
