Senior II DevOps Engineer (Azure)

What you will do

• Monitor and support production SaaS platforms to maintain availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Investigate and resolve platform, deployment, application, infrastructure, database, and authentication issues, including SSO incidents.
• Execute application deployments, configuration changes, and release activities across production environments.
• Configure monitoring and alerting, improve incident detection and response, and participate in out-of-hours on-call support.
• Drive automation initiatives and maintain operational runbooks, recovery procedures, and standard operating processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Support teams on platform resilience, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Production support experience with cloud-hosted SaaS applications.
• Strong Microsoft Azure experience with AKS, App Services, Networking, Storage, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and ACR.
• Experience troubleshooting distributed applications, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, APIs, integrations, and authentication technologies.
• Experience administering Linux and Windows systems and working with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Strong monitoring, alerting, debugging, root-cause analysis, operational documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#/.NET, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CI/CD tooling, or Web Application Firewalls.
• Experience supporting regulated environments, audits, and compliance initiatives.
• Familiarity with Azure OpenAI, RAG, AI-powered engineering tools, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
