Software Engineer (Security)

Location: Remote (United States), San Francisco

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain software and automation to improve detection and response programs.
• Implement and enhance AI agents and security bots for monitoring and investigations.
• Develop systems supporting bug bounty and vulnerability disclosure programs.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams on threat modeling and secure design.
• Contribute to secure-by-default libraries and services.
• Integrate security signals from cloud, endpoints, and applications into detection pipelines.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States for remote work
• 4+ years of software engineering experience with security focus.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript and experience building production services.
• Experience with security systems integration and threat modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and own projects end-to-end.

Nice to have

• Experience with bug bounty or vulnerability management programs.
• Experience designing AI-powered security automation agents.
