Trading Operations Lead (Crypto)

Location: Remote, based in Singapore or Hong Kong; coverage is required during Asian market hours.

Salary: $120,000–$145,000 annual base salary, plus additional on-target earnings potential and equity.

What you will do

• Own trading operations and on-call coverage during APAC hours across vault strategy and curation teams.
• Monitor live vaults and strategies, investigate alerts, and identify unexpected behavior or risks using internal dashboards and onchain data.
• Respond to operational incidents, follow playbooks, and escalate issues to relevant teams.
• Improve operational processes, incident response procedures, monitoring tools, documentation, and cross-timezone handovers.
• Track crypto and financial market developments that may affect trading strategies.
• Support technical discussions with APAC partners, explain products, understand requirements, and explore new strategies.

Requirements

• Experience working directly with live financial markets, preferably in trading operations, execution, hedge funds, proprietary trading, trading desks, or crypto trading.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and trading strategies, including the ability to identify unusual behavior and assess risks.
• Good judgment under pressure and the ability to investigate, resolve, and escalate operational issues independently.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand trading strategies without being a software engineer or quantitative researcher.
• Excellent communication skills and experience explaining technical concepts to different audiences.
• Business fluency in Mandarin and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DeFi protocols, onchain trading, or digital asset strategies.
• Experience supporting institutional clients or partners in solutions engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or trading strategy implementation.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other data analysis and monitoring tools.
