Software Engineer (AI & Productivity Solutions)

Location: Düsseldorf, Germany; hybrid with up to 2 work-from-home days per week. Remote work from Germany or selected countries abroad is available for up to 20 days per year.

hirify.global operates a hotel metasearch engine that helps travelers compare prices from hundreds of booking sites using real-time auction and machine learning technologies.

What you will do

• Drive internal AI and productivity initiatives from prototype to production.
• Build applications, integrations, copilots, chatbots, APIs, and data-backed features.
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and apply secure development practices across SaaS and custom-tool connectors.
• Understand internal workflows, advise colleagues on technical opportunities, and turn business needs into useful solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and technology decisions for a fast-evolving AI stack.
• Share technical learnings, document decisions, conduct post-mortems, and mentor less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering experience building APIs, integrations, and data-backed features end to end.
• Experience with C#/.NET, React/TypeScript, and Azure or similar cloud services is preferred; strong modern-stack fundamentals are transferable.
• Product-minded and pragmatic approach to shipping small, valuable iterations and improving them through feedback.
• Collaborative, consultative communication style and comfort with changing priorities.
• Curiosity about AI, new models, frameworks, and best practices, with attention to data access and privacy guardrails.
• Willingness to complete an asynchronous video interview, coding task, technical interview, Profile Dynamics Assessment interview, and product/team fit interview.
