Full Stack Engineer (Vue/Nuxt)

Location: Cologne, Germany; hybrid

Salary: €70,000+ gross annual salary, depending on qualifications, experience and responsibility.

What you will do

• Translate business workflows and loosely defined needs into practical internal digital products.
• Design, prototype and deliver polished web applications, lightweight APIs, decision-support tools and integrations.
• Build end-to-end features across frontend, backend, data platforms, enterprise services and legacy systems.
• Integrate data, analytical, optimisation and Generative AI capabilities into usable applications.
• Own delivery from discovery and technical shaping through release, user feedback and iteration.
• Contribute to engineering standards, reusable patterns, technical decisions, reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience and a track record of shipping full-stack products or prototypes.
• Strong frontend engineering skills with Vue.js or a similar framework, plus JavaScript or TypeScript and styling for data-heavy applications.
• Backend and integration experience covering API design, authentication, authorisation, data access and enterprise systems.
• Hands-on familiarity with Java and Spring Boot is required.
• Experience with cloud platforms, automated testing, CI/CD, containerisation and production support.
• Strong discovery, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with pragmatic judgement around speed, value, quality and maintainability.

Nice to have

• Nuxt, Databricks, data-heavy analytical interfaces or decision-support applications.
• Agentic AI, LLM application patterns, LangGraph, Pydantic AI or Model Context Protocol.
• Operations Research, mathematical optimisation, forecasting or airline and other data-intensive commercial experience.
• Agency or consultancy experience and modernisation of legacy internal tools.
