Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and evolve customer-facing applications used by dealer customers.
• Design and implement full-stack features with a stronger focus on frontend development using React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Own features throughout the lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment and operation.
• Improve the quality, maintainability and architecture of large, established codebases.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering colleagues to turn customer and business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Use GenAI development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, testing and documentation while validating output quality, security and maintainability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Strong professional experience with React, TypeScript and Node.js, with strong frontend engineering skills and the ability to contribute to backend services.
• Experience working in large existing codebases and delivering maintainable, well-tested software.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, testing, code quality and maintainability.
• Experience owning features or technical solutions from design through production and making pragmatic technical decisions.
• Curiosity about GenAI and AI-assisted software development, plus willingness to learn Java and contribute to Java-based backend services.

Nice to have

• Backend development experience with Java.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude or Codex.
• Experience integrating LLMs or AI APIs.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Experience building products or tools for B2B customers.
