What you will do

• Design enclosures and mechanical components for new intercom products from concept through volume production.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Select materials and surface treatments while balancing durability, cost, and availability.
• Perform tolerance analysis, thermal management, heat and shock simulations, and design verification.
• Design for ingress protection and vandal resistance, while contributing to acoustic performance.
• Collaborate with electronics, software, test, product development, and suppliers on prototypes, tooling, and production readiness.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing mechanical hardware from concept through verification.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive, quality-driven approach with strong initiative.
• Fluent English is required; English is the working language.
• Basic Swedish proficiency and willingness to travel occasionally are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with plastics, injection molding, die casting, or machining.
• Working knowledge of Creo and Windchill.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers on tooling and manufacturing.
• Experience across the full product lifecycle from concept to volume production.
