Electrification and FCEV System Engineer

What you will do

• Develop system concepts and architectures for battery-electric and fuel-cell vehicles.
• Define use cases, operating modes, event flows, and system exceptions.
• Coordinate interfaces between high-voltage systems, batteries, drivelines, hydrogen systems, vehicle controls, and diagnostics.
• Translate vehicle-level requirements into subsystem requirements and interface specifications.
• Maintain requirements traceability and support verification planning.
• Contribute to functional-safety, cybersecurity, compliance, and cross-disciplinary engineering activities.

Requirements

• Professional systems-engineering experience in automotive or another highly regulated vehicle or propulsion environment.
• Experience with requirements engineering, interface definition, and traceability.
• Experience in at least one electrification domain, such as battery systems, high-voltage systems, fuel cells, hydrogen, electric drivelines, or vehicle controls.
• Practical understanding of system-level functional safety and experience working across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Ability to communicate technical requirements and decisions to engineering stakeholders.
• English is required; the role is based in Gothenburg or Stockholm.

Nice to have

• Fuel-cell or hydrogen vehicle development experience.
• Battery-electric vehicle, high-voltage propulsion, or vehicle-level E/E architecture experience.
• HARA, SACA, technical safety concept, ISO 26262, UNECE R155, or automotive cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with SysML, DOORS, or comparable requirements and architecture tools.
• Senior or lead experience coordinating several subsystem owners.
