Maintenance- and Facility Manager for ABB Motion

Location: On-site at hirify.global's Finnslätten production site in Västerås, Sweden

hirify.global Motion develops large AC motors and generators for industrial applications including power generation, marine, oil and gas, mining, and data centers.

What you will do

• Lead the new maintenance service unit covering mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance.
• Manage a team of approximately 15 employees and on-site service contractors.
• Optimize process uptime, service costs, maintenance planning, and execution.
• Maintain procedures, routines, documentation, equipment, and service-related work areas.
• Monitor supplier performance and service-related KPIs, including facility services coordinated with hirify.global Real Estate.
• Manage electrical installation authorization, fire safety, hot-work procedures, and flammable-product storage.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Maintenance Manager or in another leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical installation work, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience implementing and using advanced maintenance systems.
• Practical experience developing service agreements, managing suppliers, and driving KPI-based performance.
• Strong team-building, change-management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Good written and verbal Swedish is required. An engineering or related technical degree is advantageous.
