Commercial Construction Superintendent

What you will do

• Direct on-site commercial construction activities in line with project schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead jobsite safety for employees and subcontractors, including incident reporting, investigations, and inspections.
• Coordinate with the project manager and site operations team to plan installation methods, sequencing, schedules, and commitments.
• Maintain daily logs, work orders, tickets, site conditions, punch lists, and closeout documentation through owner and architect acceptance.
• Organize site teams, temporary facilities, utilities, and long-lead item expediting.
• Build effective relationships with subcontractors, clients, vendors, and community stakeholders while identifying and resolving project issues early.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction best practices.
• Experience leading projects or working as a superintendent or project lead.
• Ability to organize people, tools, time, and other resources to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to use project software, including Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• Tenant renovation, service work, occupied-space, weekend-work, or fast-paced project experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
