Production Superintendent

Location: Warren, MI, United States. Onsite production role working 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–10:15 PM. Primary location: Bridgewater Interiors II.

What you will do

• Lead assembly operations and coordinate activities across production departments.
• Manage production schedules, staffing, labor utilization, operational costs, and plant performance.
• Analyze daily production results and collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Engineering.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and sustain lean manufacturing, BOS, and 5S practices.
• Own product quality, lead root-cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and support audits.
• Coach supervisors, team leaders, and hourly employees while addressing performance and employee-relations issues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2–4 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using data to drive operational decisions and improvements.
• Experience developing and coaching employees.
• Availability for the 2nd shift: Monday–Friday, 2:15 PM–10:15 PM.

Nice to have

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Automotive manufacturing and quality management experience.
• Just-In-Time manufacturing and lean manufacturing experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
