Qualys Platform Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Amadora, Portugal; flexible hybrid model with 8–10 in-office days per month

What you will do

• Support the delivery and adoption of Qualys platform features across local markets and entities.
• Produce high-level and low-level implementation designs.
• Develop and implement code and configuration changes.
• Complete all Security by Design requirements.
• Coordinate with colleagues to deliver communications matrix requirements.
• Work with the Qualys Solution Manager and DevOps teams to identify and deliver new solutions.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
• 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management.
• 3+ years of experience with software systems and development.
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and the Qualys platform.
• Experience delivering through Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills for engaging technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Wiz for cloud scanning.
