What you will do

• Create, code, test, and maintain Android applications with millions of downloads.
• Work with Android SDK features, including version migrations, permission handling, and background processing.
• Develop UI with attention to performance and visual detail.
• Collaborate with developers and QA testers using Agile and Kanban practices.
• Use AI development tools and explore agentic workflows for refactoring, debugging, feature parity, and application features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Android development experience with strong Java and Kotlin skills.
• Experience with Coroutines, Glide, Retrofit, OkHttp, RxJava, AsyncTasks, and XML-based Views.
• Practical knowledge of Android Studio, Git, Firebase, SDK migrations, permissions, and background processing.
• Experience developing or maintaining a Google Play application with 100,000+ downloads.
• Familiarity with Kanban and the ability to balance AI experimentation with production stability.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment.
