Android Engineer (Kotlin)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid, with office attendance required for a minimum of 60% of the time over a 12-week period

Salary: £55,000–£70,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and implement software for Android users within a cross-functional product team.
• Build and deliver new mobile features for the travel app and booking flow.
• Contribute throughout the product lifecycle and help drive product roadmaps with Product and engineering colleagues.
• Develop software using Agile practices, Scrum, continuous integration, and pair programming.
• Apply engineering practices focused on quality, clean code, and strong user experience.

Requirements

• Professional experience working with Kotlin.
• Experience with Git and continuous delivery.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, clean code, and CI/CD.
• Interest in creating a high-quality user experience.
• Basic understanding of AI-structured skills for creating components, maintaining quality, and accelerating development.
