Senior Commercial Analyst (Travel Tech)

Location: Amsterdam / Remote; hybrid role. Remote candidates must be based in GMT-2/+3 timezones.

A fast-growing travel technology platform that compares hotel accommodation across more than 100 booking sites and operates in over 100 markets.

What you will do

• Own the measurement of supply partner performance by defining, monitoring, and evolving relevant KPIs.
• Identify inventory gaps across destinations, hotel segments, and rate types, then recommend partners and sourcing strategies to close them.
• Compare partner routes for the same rooms and build recommendations for shifting volume or integrating closer to the source.
• Prioritize new partner integrations through opportunity sizing and commercial analysis.
• Build business cases, scenarios, and reporting for commission negotiations, inventory access, rate types, promotions, and partner reviews.
• Develop dashboards and self-serve reports while contributing to the analytics chapter through knowledge sharing and peer review.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in commercial analytics or business analytics, driving high-impact commercial decisions with data.
• Experience with supply, partnerships, or account optimization in a marketplace.
• Strong SQL skills and experience querying a data warehouse; the analytics stack includes Snowflake.
• Experience modelling scenarios in spreadsheets and building reports in a BI tool such as Looker.
• Ability to build and defend business cases, size opportunities, model scenarios, and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Remote candidates must be based in GMT-2/+3 timezones.

Nice to have

• Experience in travel or hotel distribution, including OTAs, wholesalers, bed banks, channel managers, and connectivity providers.
• Basic A/B testing and statistics knowledge.
• Experience building LLM-based tools for analytics.
