Quantum Application Engineer (Quantum Computing)

Location: Remote in Europe; locations listed include London, Munich, Milan, Zurich, and Paris.

What you will do

• Act as a technical champion for key enterprise customer accounts.
• Lead onboarding and training for developers and researchers with different levels of quantum expertise.
• Provide hands-on technical support and lead technical sessions with R&D and engineering teams.
• Design and co-execute projects that apply quantum algorithms to real-world business problems.
• Identify technical opportunities in customer discussions and communicate customer feedback to Product.
• Build reusable tools, insights, and methodologies to scale successful solutions across customers.

Requirements

• PhD in physics, computer science, or a related quantum information science field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in quantum algorithm design, research, or software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and quantum SDKs such as Qmod, Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq, or Tket.
• Experience leading technical sessions with R&D and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
