Engineering Graduate Scheme (Quantum Computing)

Location: Cambridge, UK; hybrid work with attendance at the Cambridge headquarters

What you will do

• Design, develop, and improve software or hardware tools for quantum computing and quantum error correction.
• Contribute to engineering projects from initial design through implementation, testing, and improvement.
• Build and test complex products based on cutting-edge quantum technology.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists from different disciplines to solve technical problems.
• Rotate through Engineering teams during the first 12 months and develop technical and professional skills with supervisor support.

Requirements

• Completed or in-progress Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related subject.
• Graduation in 2026 or expected graduation in 2027.
• Strong technical skills and creative problem-solving demonstrated through academic work, research, personal projects, or other relevant experience.
• Experience with at least one programming language, preferably C++ or Python.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, initiative, and teamwork skills.
• Interest in applying engineering skills in an industrial setting and willingness to learn quantum error correction.
