Senior Research Analyst (Fintech)

Location: London, UK; hybrid with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote

What you will do

• Lead research and evaluate submissions from major financial institutions worldwide.
• Interview senior executives, including business heads and regional leaders.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to identify insights.
• Develop benchmarking frameworks, rankings, and competitive intelligence reports.
• Translate complex qualitative and quantitative data into clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Collaborate with editorial, commercial, and product teams on new research initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in research, consulting, competitive intelligence, benchmarking, or financial services analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information.
• Excellent writing, research, and report-writing skills.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and external clients.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to independent, high-quality research.
• UK citizenship, settled status, or ILR is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, wealth management, capital markets, transaction banking, or fintech.
