Business Analyst (AI/Energy)

hirify.global is an early-stage AI startup building Orbital, a physics-informed foundation model for energy operations across oil and gas, refining, and petrochemicals.

What you will do

• Support Project Managers in tracking timelines, budgets, resourcing, deliverables, and project health across multiple customer deployments.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership and delivery teams.
• Analyse project and operational data to identify trends, risks, and process-improvement opportunities.
• Gather and document requirements from internal and customer stakeholders and translate business needs into project plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Customer Success on delivery planning and customer-facing updates.
• Develop internal processes, templates, tools, and lightweight automation for recurring analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in Process Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, including spreadsheets and SQL.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Curiosity, initiative, and comfort challenging assumptions in a fast-moving startup environment.
• No prior professional experience is required; strong fundamentals and willingness to learn are expected.

Nice to have

• Scripting experience, such as Python.
• Interest in energy, industrial operations, or applying AI to real-world problems.
