Master Thesis, 30 hp: How to use personalized feedback in a digital learning environment (AI)

What you will do

• Explore how to design AI-generated feedback that improves learning outcomes.
• Use Human Factors and/or Safety Management course materials for development, testing, and evaluation.
• Investigate which information should be used in generated feedback and how it should be presented.
• Assess how tutor-led classroom feedback can be transferred to a digital learning environment.
• Develop and evaluate a domain-specific RAG-based feedback system, if pursuing a more technological approach.

Requirements

• Be at the end of a computer science or cognitive science education, or an equivalent program.
• Be ready to start a 30-credit master’s thesis.
• Have skills in interaction design and cognitive and/or behavioral science.
• Have an interest in training, learning design, and Human Factors.
• Pass security vetting under applicable security-protection regulations; additional citizenship obligations may apply.
