Forward Deployed Engineering Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Build, develop, and lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Work directly with customers to understand workflows, needs, and complex technical problems.
• Design, prototype, and implement production solutions across frontend, backend, and AI systems.
• Own projects end to end, from discovery and architecture through shipping and iteration.
• Set technical standards through architecture decisions, code reviews, and hands-on engineering.
• Translate customer deployment insights into platform improvements and help shape the FDE function globally.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience across software engineering, technical architecture, and customer-facing engineering.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing technical teams while remaining hands-on.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals, including React and TypeScript on the frontend and robust backend development.
• Strong architectural thinking and familiarity with distributed systems.
• Experience owning complex technical engagements end to end and working directly with users and senior stakeholders.
• Professional English is required because English is the company language.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling a team or technical function from zero.
• Experience with agentic AI systems or production LLM applications.
• Experience leading zero-to-one product development.
• Founding or early-stage startup experience.
• Experience across high-growth startups, big tech, consulting, or enterprise AI.
