What you will do

• Research new materials and competitive products.
• Organize, coordinate, and execute prototype building, testing, and analysis.
• Develop and document functional requirements and translate them into detailed design documents.
• Support supplier development and supplier performance activities with supply specialists and buyers.
• Oversee drafting and testing specialists and participate in buy-build analysis.
• Support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science program.
• Knowledge of computer-aided design and engineering tools for producing, analyzing, simulating, and testing product design drafts.
• Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes from concept through production.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, prioritization, and technical problem-solving skills.
