SOC Design Verification Engineer

Location: On-site in Shanghai, China; additional location in Beijing, China.

What you will do

• Develop scalable and reusable verification plans, test benches, and environments for blocks, subsystems, and SoCs.
• Execute verification through emulation and system simulation models to validate functionality, power optimization, and performance.
• Debug failing tests by reproducing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective measures.
• Collaborate with SoC architects, microarchitects, RTL developers, postsilicon teams, and physical design teams.
• Document test plans and lead technical reviews with design and architecture teams.
• Maintain verification infrastructure, incorporate security activities, and close coverage gaps using postsilicon validation feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 0–1 years of hands-on SoC design verification experience, or a relevant master's degree with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in logic design and verification methodologies.
• Experience writing SoC feature tests and developing test environments.
• Knowledge of hardware validation and debug processes.
• Familiarity with Design for Test tools and techniques.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems in presilicon environments, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
