Senior Software Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Da Nang, Vietnam; hybrid work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

What you will do

• Design and deliver scalable technical solutions aligned with product and business needs.
• Build robust APIs, data models, background services, and modern web interfaces for a conversational recruiting platform.
• Lead technical initiatives from planning and architecture through implementation, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Improve system performance, reliability, maintainability, engineering practices, and technical architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to clarify requirements, assess risks, and deliver features end to end.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of software development engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design, software architecture, databases, data modeling, performance tuning, and system scalability.
• Experience with RESTful API design, scalable services, and secure, reliable backend systems; Python experience is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency with modern AI tools for engineering productivity, code quality, problem-solving, and technical decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English are required. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience is also required.
