Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; work is based in the office.

What you will do

• Design and build data pipelines and data-layer components.
• Develop and maintain computational frameworks and infrastructure for quantitative strategies at scale.
• Implement software systems supporting financial data, research, portfolio construction, and trading.
• Collaborate with researchers and quants to turn ideas into robust production solutions across the systematic investment lifecycle.
• Build AI-powered tooling, including LLM agents, internal copilots, and workflow automation.
• Use AI coding assistants and agentic developer tools to improve software delivery.

Requirements

• Technical or quantitative degree from a top-tier institution.
• 3–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in Python or C++ on Linux/Unix platforms, with familiarity with scripting languages.
• Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI technologies, including LLMs and agentic AI.
• Experience in finance or quantitative investment environments.
