Full-Stack Developer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Direct Agents operates AI-powered reporting systems, client dashboards, data pipelines, and workflow automations while developing a confidential generative AI product for the media industry.

What you will do

• Build and maintain full-stack features across Python/FastAPI backends, JavaScript front ends, Vue, and SQL data layers.
• Use Claude Code daily to direct agentic coding workflows, review AI-generated code and pull requests, and develop custom skills and subagents.
• Debug and strengthen marketing-data pipelines, SQL views, workflow automations, and the systems supporting client dashboards and internal agents.
• Integrate Claude and GPT APIs for copy generation, insight extraction, creative analysis, retrieval, and vector-search features.
• Own deployments, monitoring, rollbacks, and incident response for client-facing sites and internal tools.
• Collaborate with data, strategy, and account teams while shaping architecture and features for the new product.

Requirements

• Proven full-stack development experience with Python, JavaScript, and Vue preferred.
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI-assisted and agentic development using tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Experience with Python, FastAPI, SQL, RESTful APIs, Git-based version control, and agile workflows.
• Comfort owning both greenfield development and ongoing support of live, client-facing systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with data, strategy, and account teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or Angular.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, vector search, media or marketing AI workflows, and workflow automation tools such as n8n.
• Experience with Netlify, containerized cloud services, SQL Server, or Azure SQL.
