Software Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Office in Boise, with hybrid and remote options available

hirify.global is building production software and a Generative AI engineering team for institutional investors globally.

What you will do

• Build and maintain LLM agent pipelines, MCP integrations, and retrieval-augmented generation systems.
• Develop production software with Python, FastAPI, LangChain, TypeScript, and React.
• Use Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools for code generation, debugging, and iteration.
• Improve AI-powered applications and translate loosely defined requirements into production-ready code.
• Analyze software issues, propose architectural improvements, and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and document APIs, architecture, and implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of production software development experience.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with LLM, agentic, or AI/ML systems in production or near-production environments.
• Production proficiency in Python 3.11, FastAPI, LangChain, TypeScript, and React.
• Hands-on experience with LLM agent tools, agentic workflows, MCP integrations, or RAG systems.
• Daily fluency with AI-assisted development tools, specifically Claude Code, is required.
