Critical Infrastructure Engineer (Data Center)

What you will do

• Support 100% uptime for the data center and customer infrastructure.
• Develop and review methods of procedure and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate customer application implementations, including space, power, and network preparation.
• Manage technical aspects of facility operations, including power and HVAC systems.
• Provide technical support for customer integration and present facility-related technical proposals.
• Handle day-to-day facility issues and produce monthly reports and metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of facility operations and management experience in the data center industry.
• Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, mechanical systems, and general networking technologies.
• Strong supervisory and managerial capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and proposal design skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent training, education, and experience; familiarity with environmental, safety, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, and OHSAS 18000 standards.
