Product Owner (Alternative Payments)

What you will do

• Translate product strategy, industry context, and stakeholder needs into product requirements and delivery priorities.
• Act as the product ambassador across internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Lead product refinement by documenting specifications, analyzing and mapping data, and defining user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Maintain the team backlog in Jira, prioritize outcomes, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate demonstrations, feedback loops, cross-functional release planning, and delivery milestone updates.
• Own changes end to end, including issue resolution, blocker management, user guides, training materials, and handover to business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a software development environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience scoping roadmap initiatives, refining features, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience creating detailed specifications and user or training guides.
• Ability to understand multiple user journeys and regional requirements.
• Understanding of API design and lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, alternative payments, point of sale, finance, or banking.
