Product Owner (Card Issuing)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work

What you will do

• Define product vision and strategy for assets managed by the Issuing back-office squad.
• Gather requirements with technical and business stakeholders and align products with customer needs.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and maintain an actionable roadmap.
• Oversee product development from ideation through deployment and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Lead continuous improvement and optimization of processing solutions.
• Own the squad’s applications end to end and address implementation challenges.

Requirements

• Higher degree in IT, Management, or a related field.
• Relevant Product Owner or Project Manager experience in an Agile environment.
• Strong understanding of card issuing processing systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English at C1 level.
• Experience with international and cross-functional teams is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of Java technology.
• Additional language skills, including French.
