Sourcing RFQ Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote from Kazakhstan, Georgia, or Serbia; flexible schedule aligned with the US Eastern Time Zone.

What you will do

• Analyze CAD models, 3D models, technical drawings, and manufacturing requirements in English.
• Assess manufacturability and recommend suitable machining, fabrication, and post-processing methods.
• Calculate costs for materials, machining hours, post-processing, and labor intensity.
• Document calculations and transfer quote information to Sales and Commercial teams.
• Organize RFQs, clarify technical details with Sales and Engineering, and maintain quote databases.
• Deliver accurate quotes ideally within 1–2 working hours while supporting workflow automation and optimization.

Requirements

• Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in metalworking or mechanical engineering.
• Expert knowledge of turning, milling, CNC machining, EDM, laser, waterjet, plasma cutting, sheet metal processing, and welding.
• Knowledge of post-processing methods, including polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, blasting, coatings, and painting.
• Knowledge of metals, plastics, composites, and their processing properties.
• English level B2+ and availability for remote work from Kazakhstan, Georgia, or Serbia with US Eastern Time Zone alignment.

Nice to have

• Experience with tooling and fixture design for machining, assembly, and welding.
• CAM programming for CNC using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or CypCut.
• Readiness to develop further CAM programming skills.
