Mechanical CAD Engineer (Automotive Electric Drive)

Location: Hybrid from Kraków, Poland, with two days per week in the office

Salary: 900–1,120 PLN per day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Design and support mechanical components, assemblies, and drawings for integrated electric drive modules.
• Create, evaluate, update, and release 3D CAD models, drawings, and bills of materials using NX and Teamcenter.
• Verify designs against internal standards, support mechanical verification, and perform tolerance stack-up activities.
• Support manufacturing and test fixture development, change management, and documentation.
• Exchange 3D data with suppliers and customers and present results to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong background in mechanical engineering, especially gearbox and electric motor design.
• Experience designing driveline components such as gears, shafts, casings, bearings, and lubrication systems.
• Experience with 3D CAD modelling, preferably NX, and Teamcenter or an equivalent PLM solution.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, metal and die-cast component design, and automotive product development.
• Practical knowledge of GD&T, sealing, thermal and vibration requirements, and fluent English.
