Software Development Engineer (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; 30–50% travel required

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate production AI systems for enterprise cloud migration.
• Develop agentic AI solutions for discovery, migration wave planning, runbook generation, and infrastructure provisioning.
• Build orchestration workflows that coordinate AI agents and human practitioners with shared context.
• Develop platform services such as project datastores, external-system connectors, and agent lifecycle management.
• Integrate solutions with AWS Transform and deliver customer-specific agents and integrations.
• Work directly with customer engineering teams, debug systems in production, and iterate on measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience with at least one programming language and the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience contributing to system architecture and design, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience with coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Ability to work in London and travel 30–50% as required by the role.

Nice to have

• Experience building or deploying AI/ML applications in production.
• Experience with agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, or foundation model integration.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting-adjacent engineering roles.
