Site Operations AI & Automation Manager (AI)

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire, United Kingdom; based at hirify.global Head Office

Salary: £52,000–£66,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design, delivery, and operation of production-grade AI and automation solutions for site operations.
• Build high-complexity components using Python, LLM providers, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Apps Script.
• Design LLM workflows using prompt engineering, evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Set standards for code reviews, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and reliable platform operation.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and preventative fixes for workflow failures.
• Translate operational problems into measurable technical solutions and lead a team of site operations professionals.

Requirements

• On-site work at hirify.global Head Office in Leicestershire is required.
• Proven experience shipping scalable production AI systems rather than prototypes or scripts.
• Strong Python, SQL, API, and AI automation experience, including process mapping and stakeholder collaboration.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud, including Vertex AI and BigQuery, plus web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience architecting end-to-end systems and participating throughout the full SDLC.
• Ability to lead a team, communicate technical outcomes to stakeholders, and manage organizational change.

• Background in eCommerce environments.
