Logistics Specialist

Location: Approximately 160-day rotations in Australia; work is primarily performed in office and warehouse environments.

Estimated pay range: $70,000–$95,000 annually, with the final offer based on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Coordinate secure transport and delivery of classified, sensitive, and mission-critical materials between operational sites and government facilities.
• Maintain chain-of-custody procedures, accountability documentation, transportation logs, inventory records, and incident reports.
• Handle receipt, inspection, packaging, inventory verification, transfer, and safeguarding of classified and controlled materials.
• Coordinate movement schedules, routing plans, dispatch activities, delivery priorities, and operational status updates.
• Work with government personnel, security representatives, operations centers, transportation staff, and site leadership.
• Support operational planning, asset tracking, Government Furnished Property accountability, surge operations, and contingency missions.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in logistics, transportation coordination, supply operations, secure courier operations, military logistics, or related operational support.
• Working knowledge of chain-of-custody procedures, secure handling requirements, and operational reporting.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in fast-paced operational environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and operational tracking systems.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Military, deployed operations, contingency logistics, or Department of Defense logistics experience.
• Familiarity with the NAVSUP Mail Tracking System and other logistics reporting systems.
• Experience in austere or high-tempo operational environments.
