Export Officer (12mth Parental Leave Contract)

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia; based at the Northgate office with flexible hybrid work-from-home options

What you will do

• Process orders and provide client and sales administration for international veterinary customers.
• Respond to account, product, freight, and customer service queries, including retention calls and product recommendations.
• Coordinate dispatch, transportation, and export documentation according to customer requests.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness across export operations.
• Advise on suitable transportation options based on cost and customer preferences.
• Assist the Production Team Leader with resolving queries.

Requirements

• Experience in the veterinary industry, ideally as a Veterinary Nurse.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Problem-solving ability and a pragmatic approach to solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service focus.
• Ability to learn new systems and proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Nice to have

• Experience in export administration.
• Veterinary clinic procedure and product knowledge.
