Senior Finance Analyst, Product FP&A

Location: Boston, MA; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office. Applicants must live within commuting distance and be authorized to work in the United States.

Base salary: $88,000–$110,000 per year, depending on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.

What you will do

• Drive annual planning and monthly forecasting with business partners, including planning calendars, templates, Anaplan inputs, and forecast variance bridges.
• Partner with Accounting during monthly and quarterly close to validate accruals and compare actual results with forecasts.
• Lead OPEX variance analysis and explanations, support total-company OPEX consolidation, and communicate financial insights to stakeholders.
• Support AI adoption in FP&A by collaborating with Finance Systems on forecasting, reporting, dashboarding, and insight-generation tools.
• Identify and lead process improvements across FP&A, Accounting, and partner functions.
• Build financial projections for functional and long-term strategic planning and support ad hoc business projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, consulting, or banking.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling and data analysis skills, including the ability to summarize large datasets and make recommendations.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, accrual accounting, full P&L management, and budgeting.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must live within commuting distance of the Boston office and work onsite three days per week.

Nice to have

• FP&A business partnering experience in consumer electronics, retail, consumer products, or manufacturing.
• Experience with Anaplan or a similar cloud forecasting tool, SAP, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools.
• Experience using AI tools for dashboarding, data visualization, and financial insights.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
