Lead Product Line Manager - Campus Networking Solutions (AI)

Location: Hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week working from an HPE office

Salary: USD 194,000–412,500 annual base salary in California, United States; variable incentives may also be offered.

What you will do

• Define and execute product strategy and roadmaps for autonomous networking across campus, branch, data center, security, and cloud-managed environments.
• Engage enterprise customers, partners, and field teams to identify operational challenges and translate them into product capabilities.
• Drive the integration of AI, automation, intelligent operations, telemetry, analytics, and experimentation across networking products and services.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams on product design, technical trade-offs, requirements, business cases, and solution implementation.
• Develop positioning and go-to-market strategies, using prototypes and proof-of-concepts to accelerate product delivery.
• Represent autonomous networking initiatives with customers, executives, industry forums, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Extensive product management or technical product management experience in the networking industry.
• Deep knowledge of wired and wireless networking, campus and branch networks, network security, cloud-managed platforms, protocols, architectures, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience deploying, operating, troubleshooting, or managing enterprise networking environments.
• Ability to translate complex customer and operational challenges into scalable product solutions and collaborate with highly technical engineering and architecture teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, stakeholder management, product strategy, and roadmap development skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-powered, autonomous, or self-healing infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud operations, observability, network analytics, AIOps, machine learning, or automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern cloud platforms and SaaS-based networking solutions.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, rapid prototyping, and data-driven product discovery.
• Experience influencing large-scale platform strategies and presenting to executives, customers, analysts, or industry forums.
