Lab Associate Practitioner (Digital Health)

What you will do

• Support the development and verification of laboratory tests.
• Receive biological samples and prepare them for analysis.
• Operate and maintain automated and semi-automated laboratory equipment and analysers.
• Perform routine tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and complete IQC and EQA activities.
• Record laboratory data in LIMS and troubleshoot basic equipment issues under supervision.
• Collaborate with Biomedical Scientists, medical staff, and laboratory personnel to maintain reliable lab throughput.

Requirements

• Practical experience in a laboratory environment using strict SOPs and quality frameworks.
• Experience handling biological samples, using LIMS, and operating standard laboratory analysers.
• High attention to detail in data recording, quality control, and maintaining clean working conditions.
• Working knowledge of laboratory health and safety, COSHH, sharps disposal, and biological hazard protocols.
• Clear communication, collaborative working style, reliability, and sound judgement when escalating equipment issues.
