Medical Strategy Lead, Oncology-Clinical Development (Centre of Excellence) (Oncology)

What you will do

• Provide strategic medical and scientific expertise in hematology-oncology across the research and development lifecycle.
• Advise internal stakeholders on protocol design, clinical development plans, mechanisms of action, standards of care, competitive landscapes, and recruitment expectations.
• Support early customer engagement, proposal development, client meetings, bid-defense meetings, post-award transitions, and governance activities.
• Consult with sponsors and guide project teams on clinical development strategy and trial execution.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Commercial Consulting Services, Real World Services, and other medical strategy leads.
• Maintain current knowledge of hematology and oncology literature and provide coaching and preparation to project teams.

Requirements

• Medical Doctor with oncology training and experience in the relevant therapeutic area.
• Board certification in oncology.
• Typically 5–7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years outside formal training in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Practical experience leading and managing research and development processes, projects, and tactics.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing, customer relations, strategic thinking, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Hematology training or expertise in addition to solid tumor experience.
