What you will do
- Provide strategic medical and scientific expertise in hematology-oncology across the research and development lifecycle.
- Advise internal stakeholders on protocol design, clinical development plans, mechanisms of action, standards of care, competitive landscapes, and recruitment expectations.
- Support early customer engagement, proposal development, client meetings, bid-defense meetings, post-award transitions, and governance activities.
- Consult with sponsors and guide project teams on clinical development strategy and trial execution.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Commercial Consulting Services, Real World Services, and other medical strategy leads.
- Maintain current knowledge of hematology and oncology literature and provide coaching and preparation to project teams.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor with oncology training and experience in the relevant therapeutic area.
- Board certification in oncology.
- Typically 5β7 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years outside formal training in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Practical experience leading and managing research and development processes, projects, and tactics.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, influencing, customer relations, strategic thinking, and mentoring skills.
Nice to have
- Hematology training or expertise in addition to solid tumor experience.
