Senior Data Analyst / Senior Analytics Engineer

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the San Francisco or Toronto offices

Estimated base salary: $155,000–$195,000 in Toronto or $182,000–$230,000 in San Francisco, plus equity.

What you will do

• Work with Revenue Operations, Finance, and Customer Success to define trusted business metrics and improve operational workflows.
• Analyze complex healthcare and product datasets and translate findings into strategic recommendations and measurable actions.
• Communicate analytical results clearly and tailor insights to different audiences.
• Build and evolve event instrumentation, metric frameworks, and scalable self-serve analytics tools.
• Mentor analysts and raise standards for data storytelling, analytical rigor, and stakeholder influence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining analytics data models with tools such as dbt.
• 5+ years of experience designing analytics architecture and data layers for multiple business functions and reporting use cases.
• 5+ years of experience implementing data quality checks, testing, and monitoring for reliable reporting.
• Experience with Python or R, applied statistical techniques, and BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, or Tableau.
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills, with experience developing junior talent and supporting sales, funnel, or pipeline analytics.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in applied mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or a related field.
• Experience working with sales organizations and familiarity with funnel and pipeline processes.
