Data & Analytics Co-op (AI)

Location: Boston, MA; in-office five days a week. The co-op term runs from January through June 2027 and is open only to students enrolled in a Northeastern University co-op program.

Salary: $21 per hour. Co-ops are not eligible for company benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain data sources, reports, dashboards, and analytics applications using BigQuery, dbt, and related tools.
• Pull, validate, and structure datasets for ad hoc analysis and business-impact measurement.
• Partner with the Senior Analyst to prioritize analytics tools and develop scalable approaches.
• Review data for accuracy and completeness, identify data gaps, and help resolve quality issues.
• Set up guardrails to automate awareness of known data gaps and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Own at least one reporting area end to end and improve a dashboard or process used by the team.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Northeastern University co-op program is required.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Experience with BigQuery or a comparable SQL-based data warehouse.
• Comfort reviewing and validating datasets for accuracy and completeness.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in the Boston office five days per week during the January–June 2027 co-op term.

• Exposure to R, Python, dbt, Omni, or Domo.
