Senior Product Analytics Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States. The company also has a Chicago office, where some roles require regular in-office presence.

Base salary: $142,718–$186,560 per year, plus potential equity in the form of stock options.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines and data models for product usage and event telemetry.
• Partner with Product Engineering to shape canonical product data, usage cohorts, and behavioral signal definitions.
• Build the semantic layer and self-service data models for Product Analytics.
• Support data governance through taxonomy definition, metric certification, and machine-readable documentation.
• Own data quality monitoring and anomaly detection for product usage data.
• Build production-grade metrics and pipelines for expansion and upsell cohort analysis.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States for this remote role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience spanning data engineering and analytics.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience building production data pipelines and stakeholder-facing analytics or dashboards.
• Experience translating ambiguous business requirements into governed, well-documented data models.

Nice to have

• Experience partnering with product and engineering teams on instrumentation and source data design.
• Experience contributing to data governance or metric-certification processes.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Regular use of AI tools in coding and development workflows.
